“Croque” is an abbreviation for the French word for “crunch”, and these tasty toasted sandwiches came into vogue in the
early nineteen-hundreds. Originally a way of combining quality ingredients to create a quick meal-in-one, variations and embellishments soon turned this sandwich into a fashionable anddelicious tour-de-force on lunch tables across Europe.
Our croques are accompanied by a small salad.
